Rui Maria de Araújo (born 21 May 1964) is the Prime Minister of Timor Leste, a position he has held since 2015. He is a physician. He is a member of FRETILIN. He was Minister of Health from 2001 to 2006 and Deputy Prime Minister from 2006 to 2007. Februar 2015.〕 Araújo received his medical degree from the Sultan Agung University Faculty of Medicine in Indonesia. He did training in otolaryngology (ear nose throat speciality and head and neck surgery) at the Medical Faculty of Udayana University.
